REDstack B.V.

Commissioned by Logisticon Water Treatment, Elmon supplied the control cabinets and electrical installation for a sand filter installation for REDstack B.V. The sand filter installation will be used for the Blue Energy energy project on the Afsluitdijk. Blue Energy is the technology which REDstack extracts energy from the difference in salt concentration of salt water from the Wadden sea and fresh water from the IJsselmeer. If Blue Energy is to be used on a global scale, an amount of energy is generated that is estimated at 20% of the total current energy consumption.
